Session File Transfer
The file transfer feature enables the user to upload or download files between the user's computer and the device in the current session.
Enable File Transfer in Sessions
To enable file transfer in any proxy type, go to proxy settings in the Settings ➔ System parameters ➔ System parameters menu and the option "Enable file transfer?" select yes.
If you need to enable this feature only to some specific devices, you can use System parameters segregation.
Enable the file transfer will not enable the logs. To log the transferred files, it's necessary to be enabled separated.
Enable File Transfer Logs
The following steps can enable the trigger to log the files transferred during the sessions:
- In the PAM Core ➔ Settings ➔ Access ➔ Triggers transfer, select Enabled filter to No.
- Transfer audit option will appear in red, click on the Enable icon in the Action colunm.
- Go to proxy settings in the Settings ➔ System parameters ➔ System parameters, and select Yes in the "Enable triggers for files transfers?" field.
These transferred files logs will now be available in the Access control ➔ Transferred files report.
Due to technology limitations, transfers via SFTP are not possible when Enable the File Transfer Logs.
