Configure Citrix integration

After installing the Citrix bridge server, you need to configure the integration as described below:

Add the Citrix bridge server as a device

Requirements

Add device

  1. Access the menu Devices ➔ Devices
  2. On the page’s actions click on New
  3. On the Information tab, fill required fields
  4. On the Connectivity tab, add the RDP (3389) connectivity
  5. Click on the Save button

Configure a RemoteApp

Requirements

Citrix Store XenApp Services URL
To get it, open the Citrix Studio, in the sidebar go to Stores, and copy the XenApp Services URL value, as shown below:

To get the application's name, open your Citrix Studio, in the sidebar go to Applications and copy the application name, as shown below:

Configure RemoteApp

  1. Access the menu PAM ➔ Settings ➔ Access ➔ RemoteApp
  2. Type a Name for this RemoteApp
  3. Select User simulation on the Type field
  4. Fill the Application path with the Citrix XenApp Services URL and Application name separated by pipe, as the example below:

  1. Click on the Save button
IMPORTANT

The application name must be the same as shown on Citrix Studio applications.

Add the Citrix bridge server credential

Requirements

  • The credential must be in the Active Directory (AD)
  • RemoteApp for applications configured

Add credential

  1. Access the menu PAM ➔ Credentials ➔ All
  2. On the page’s actions click on New
  3. On the Information tab, fill the required fields
  4. Go to the Session settings tab
  5. In the Remote application settings section, add the RemoteApps in Automation macro (RemoteApp)
  6. Click on the Save button

Access a Citrix desktop or application

  1. Create the folder C:\senhasegura_share on the user's workstation

  2. From the user's workstation, start the RDP client

  3. On the General tab of the connection screen, complete the following fields:

  1. On the Local Resources tab, uncheck the option to use workstation printer resources
  2. Click the More button to configure disk unit sharing. Select drive C: and click on OK
  3. On the Programs tab, select the option Start the following program on connection and fill in the Program path and File name field with the same address as the RemoteApp configuration in senhasegura
  4. Click on Connect
RDP Proxy
  1. In the Select an access option field, select the application configured to run and click on Access
  2. The remote session will be started along with running the configured application.
